What We Can Help With
- Corrections — If you spot outdated information, a changed program detail, or an error on any page, please let us know. Include the page URL and what's changed if you know.
- New city suggestions — If your city has a food scrap drop-off program we haven't covered, send the program's official URL and we'll add it to our list for research.
- Program updates — Many program operators and city staff contact us directly when programs change. We welcome these updates.
What We Can't Help With
We are an independent informational site — not affiliated with any composting program. We can't answer questions about specific programs' hours, sign-up issues, or operational problems. For those, contact the program directly through the links on each city's guide page.
Response Time
We review email regularly and typically respond within 3–5 business days. For urgent corrections to program information (a site has closed, hours have changed, accepted materials have been updated), we prioritize those and aim to update within 1–2 days.
